Bernadette Johnson, CPT
As the president of CORE Consulting, Bernadette Johnson serves as a catalyst for leaders who want to make a difference in their organization through their own growth. Bernadette has over 20 years in the financial services industry and over 15 years in training and organizational development. She has built a career as a consultant, giving her the opportunity to make a difference through coaching, group process, performance improvement and facilitation. Bernadette has successfully designed and implemented programs for management, staff and board development on team building, conflict resolution, communication, accountability and change/transition management which are making a difference in their respective organizations.
Bernadette has a BA in Management and Organizational Development. She authors articles and is frequently sought as a resource within the financial services sector for industry periodicals and as a national presenter. Bernadette is also an International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) Certified Performance Technologist.
Currently, Bernadette is on the advisory board for the TruWisdom Women's Programs as well as the designer and facilitator of TruWisdom's Leading with Wisdom program, a program designed for women who are new and seasoned in their leadership positions. She also serves as a member of Lansing Community Colleges's (LCC) Capital Quality Initiative Steering Committee as well as an instructor for LCC's Business & Community Institute.
She is the recipient of WOCCU 1996 Silver Award for her onsite work with the Trinidad/Tobago Caribbean League's Strategic Planning Session. Bernadette was co-recipient of the ISPI-Michigan 2002 Honorary Award of Excellence, ISPI Michigan's 2003 Premier Award and competed at the national level to be awarded the ISPI 2003 Award of Excellence for Human Performance Intervention. She is also recognized in the 2006 Who's Who in American Business.
